My brand new toy

It's only just 2 months into the new year.... and this year so far has been quite emotional, depressing, disappointing, moving but also exciting at times. But I'm staying positive and hope something good will come out of all of it. I've finally booked some flights to Scotland. I've been wanting to go there for years now. And yes, I have bought myself a brand new toy! It's an EOS 7D, together with my 70-200 f4 lens it accounts for some amazing pictures. I really love it and I guess you can expect some pretty decent pictures from Scotland later this year. I'm also planning on going to South-East Asia next year. But it's still early days....... here are some pics from Winterthur this weekend - my first shots with the 7D - mostly portraits, as there was nothing really that interesting in Winterthur:
